Vintage Shutter Table Runners

I saw this and thought that it would be beautiful for spring weddings!

Re-purposing vintage items is such an awesome (and affordable!) way to personalize your wedding. I love how these shutters look on the table, especially with the colorful runner underneath!

You can find old shutters at flee markets and places like garage sales. The key is to find ones that are small enough to allow room for the plates on the table, so make sure that you know your table size before you go hunting.

It'd be great to stain them to match your color scheme or to leave them in the variety of stains and colors you find them in for a more eclectic look. You can tie them all together with picking similar or coordinating items for the flowers.
